Chapter 3: The Factory & The Conductor

Walkthrough for REANIMAL Chapter 3: Surviving the industrial nightmare and the final boss.

Overview

You’re now deep in the industrial complex. This chapter is the most challenging, featuring complex conveyor belt puzzles and a relentless pursuit by The Conductor.

Key Objectives

  1. The Assembly Line: Avoid the crushing machines.
  2. The Furnace: Survive the heat waves.
  3. The Control Room: Redirect power to the main exit.
  4. Final Chase: Outrun The Conductor on the magnetized rails.

  • Hats: 2 (The Welder's Mask, The Conductor's Hat)

Part 1: The Assembly Line

You land on a moving belt carrying scrap dolls.

  • Hazard: Hydraulic presses.
    • Check the Rhythm: Wait for the press to ascend fully before running.
    • Co-op Boost: Some gaps are too wide; boost each other across the moving platforms.
    • Stealth: Hide inside empty doll chassis to evade scanner drones.

Part 2: The Furnace Room

The room is periodically blasted with fire.

  • Mechanic: Use the metal screens as shields.
    • Player A pushes a heavy shield forward. Player B stays behind.
    • Swap roles when stamina depletes.
    • Reaching the other side requires perfect timing between blasts (approx. 5 seconds safe window).

Part 3: The Magnet Puzzle

You reach a room filled with giant electromagnets.

  1. Objective: Use the crane to bridge the gap.
  2. Controls:
    • Panel A: Moves Left/Right.
    • Panel B: Moves Up/Down + Magnet On/Off.
  3. Solution:
    • Move Crane to Pile A. Magnet ON.
    • Move to Gap. Magnet OFF (drops scrap to form bridge).
    • Repeat 3 times to build a ramp.
    • The Conductor appears during the last phase, forcing you to rush.

Part 4: The Conductor (Boss)

A multi-limbed mechanical monstrosity overseeing the factory.

Phase 1: The Catwalks

  • Run along the narrow beams.
  • Dodge: When The Conductor strikes the beam, jump to the adjacent one immediately.

Phase 2: The Control Room

  • You must overload the core to disable him.
  • Split Up:
    • Player A distracts him by banging on pipes (Interaction key).
    • Player B rotates the Pressure Valves while his back is turned.
    • Do this for 3 valves.

Phase 3: The Final Run

The core overloads. Everything is collapsing.

  • Sprint: No looking back.
  • Quick Time Event:
    • Mash the button to pry open the final blast door together.
    • Slide under the closing gate.

Ending Sequence

You escape into the morning light... or do you? (Depending on collected Glitched Remains, a secret cutscene may trigger here).
