Optimized Settings: Best Performance & Visibility

How to configure your Graphics, Audio, and Controller settings for the best REANIMAL experience.

Graphics: Visibility over Fidelity

In horror games, "Atmosphere" can sometimes mean "I can't see anything."

  • Gamma/Brightness: Increase slightly above the recommendation. The game is very dark by default.
  • Volumetric Fog: Set to Medium. High fog kills FPS and makes it harder to spot distant enemies.
  • Motion Blur: Turn OFF. Essential for tracking fast-moving chase sequences.
  • Depth of Field: Turn OFF if you find the background blur distracting during platforming.

Audio: Crucial for Survival

  • 3D Audio: Enable if using headphones. Enemy position cues are vital.
  • Dynamic Range: Set to Wide or Headphones.
  • Dialogue Volume: Keep at 100%. The siblings whisper hints to each other.

Controller Settings

  • Vibration: Turn ON (Low). Heartbeat vibration warns you of proximity to enemies.
  • Sensitivity: Increase camera sensitivity slightly (Default is often too slow for panic turns).
